Access to Information

Empowering Malawi Through Information

At Mzuzu University, we recognise that access to information is not just a right but a cornerstone of informed decision-making and active citizen participation.

Enshrined in Section 37 of Malawi’s constitution and guided by the Access to Information Act of 2016 (effective 2020), this vital framework empowers individuals to engage meaningfully in governance and development, aligning with the Malawi 2063 vision for inclusive wealth creation and self-reliance.
